Eagles Girls Flag Football – Fall Season Overview

We are proud to announce that the Eagles are now a part of the BGYFL (Bill George Youth Football League), expanding our tradition of excellence to include Girls Flag Football!

Season Highlights:

• The girls' flag football season will run parallel to the boys' football season.

• Practices begin Monday, August 4, and will be held twice per week during the school year.

• The postseason is expected to conclude around the second week of November.

• Games will be played on weekends, including Labor Day weekend.

Game & Equipment Info:

• Players will receive home and away jerseys and a soft, halo-style helmet.

• Games will follow IHSA Girls Flag Football rules.

• Expect a minimum of 8 games during the season.

• Teams will compete against local BGYFL towns, including Lombard, Downers Grove, Glen Ellyn, and others.

• Home games will be held at Berens Park.

Additional Notes:

• If multiple teams exist at a level, we cannot guarantee that friends will be placed on the same team.

• More information will be shared as the season approaches.
