FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
HEAD COACH: In charge of organizing and executing practices and game plans according the EEYFC bylaws.
ASSISTANT COACH: Assist head coach in organizing practices and game plans according to the EEYFC bylaws.
TEAM MANAGER/MOM: Organize communication between coaches and parents; help with planning all EEYFC activities. Please see Special Events for more detailed information.
FOOTBALL GAME DAY
FIELD SETUP/TEARDOWN: These volunteers would be required to assist coaches during first and final home game and to setup/take down field items and the announcer’s booth. This usually takes approximately a half hour.
ANNOUNCER: One individual is needed to announce over the PA system player names and numbers during ALL HOME games as special plays take place and all the players and cheerleaders prior to the start of the game. This is needed for the entire game.
CHAIN GANG: The chain gang consists of three people who are on the sidelines during ALL home games and are taking care of the down marker and the first down chains.
STAT AND FILMING PERSONNEL: volunteer to keep program stats and/or film games AND special events.
SPECIAL EVENTS
UNIFORM: Distribution and Collection.
SPIRIT WEAR: Work the booth selling EEYFC Spirit Wear either at practice or game day.
PICTURE DAY: Help organize kids and escort from one station to another.
FUNDRAISING COLLECTION: Be available to collect the green ticket tabs at some games and practices.
HOMECOMING: Help distribute food/beverages/snacks, set-up and clean-up of field, announcer.
CHEER COMPETITION: Day of monitor halls, escort squads, work BGYFL assigned stations.
BOWL GAMES: Work BGYFL assigned stations.
BANQUETS: Coordinating end of the season team banquet.
