The Elmhurst Eagles is a youth football and cheerleading organization promoting community, competition and healthy development in Elmhurst since 1964. The Eagles compete in Chicago's west suburban Bill George Youth Football League (BGYFL). Eagles is a competitive travel program where players learn and develop the fundamentals of football or cheerleading, preparing them for the high school level.

But we are committed to helping develop more than good football players or cheerleaders. Eagles coaches are focused on teaching young athletes about teamwork, accountability and a wide range of other principles that can go on to play an important part in their lives long after youth and high school sports. You can learn more throughout our website, or contact us at if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by.

Go Eagles!

For 50 years the Elmhurst Eagles organization has been helping young athletes learn what healthy, fair competition means so they can apply the same principles to other aspects of their lives. The Eagles represent Elmhurst in the Bill George Youth Football League, one of Chicagoland’s oldest and most respected youth sports organizations.  The Eagles organization works very closely with the BGYFL on rules to promote fair, fun and safe competition.
The Eagles are an important part of the Elmhurst Community and they also form a community of their own where coaches, players and families share a commitment to having fun while competing and practicing together. Eagles members support local causes and community organizations throughout the year. Our players, families and coaches also support one another, creating a powerful social opportunity for local area families.
We use coaching, training and communication to contribute to the healthy development of Elmhurst's young people. We have an unwavering commitment to safety, with certified coaches teaching proper skills and techniques while helping in the development of the “complete athlete”, by promoting nutrition, fitness and academics. The experience of any Eagles athlete should support their healthy growth as a person, not just as a football player or cheerleader. Click here to learn more.
